According to the announcement of the detailed planning project 1/5000 of the new Administrative Center of Hai Phong approved in Decision No. 1841/QD-UBND and expected to start construction in the first and second quarters of 2022, completed and put into operation at the end of 2024: The first two items worth 4,000 billion will officially start construction, prepare the project until the end of the first quarter of 2022 and start implementation from the second quarter of 2022 to the fourth quarter of 2025 to put into operation. In 2025, after completing the relocation of the Administrative Center, officers and employees will start working in the new capital. In addition, Hai Phong has also decided to invest in the City Convention – Performance Center in the North Cam River New Urban Area, with a total area of ​​12.39 hectares, a scale of 1,500 seats, expected to be completed in 2025. This will be a modern and magnificent event organization project; it is also the place chosen to organize the city’s largest event, the Red Flamboyant Flower Festival to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation. It is known that to implement this important project, the city completed land acquisition and compensation for households in September 2021. To date, all land within the new administrative center has been cleared and handed over to the city. This is a good sign that from the end of 2024 to the beginning of 2024, government spending is increasing, promoting many public investment projects.
